Agreement to these terms

By installing FranchiseOS, connecting a league, signing into the dashboard, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use FranchiseOS for a Discord server or organization, you represent that you have authority to act for it.

If you do not agree, do not use FranchiseOS. Discord and Electronic Arts may impose separate terms that also apply to your accounts and use of their services.

What FranchiseOS provides

FranchiseOS is a community-built platform for managing online Madden franchise leagues. Features may include Discord setup and migration, team ownership, scheduling, gameday rooms, commissioner workflows, trades, roster and statistical views, and synchronization of league data made available through a connected Madden account.

Features may change, be added, enter testing, or be discontinued. Beta features may be incomplete or behave unexpectedly.

Accounts and league authority

• You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirements and be legally able to agree to these terms.
• You are responsible for your Discord and EA accounts and for actions taken through them.
• A commissioner connecting Madden must be authorized to access and administer the selected franchise.
• Server administrators are responsible for informing league members that FranchiseOS is installed and for configuring appropriate roles, channels, and permissions.
• You must provide accurate information and promptly remove access from former staff or owners.

Acceptable use

You may not use FranchiseOS to violate law, Discord rules, EA rules, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of another person. You may not:

• Access another league, server, account, or user’s data without authorization.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or access controls.
• Upload malicious code or use the service for harassment, fraud, impersonation, or illegal activity.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to FranchiseOS without written permission.
• Use league data in a deceptive manner or claim that FranchiseOS is endorsed by Discord, Electronic Arts, the NFL, or an NFL club.

Madden and third-party services

FranchiseOS is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts, Discord, the NFL, or its member clubs. Madden, Discord, team names, and related marks belong to their respective owners.

Direct Madden synchronization depends on interfaces and data controlled by Electronic Arts. Discord features depend on Discord’s platform. Those services can change, fail, restrict access, or become unavailable without notice. FranchiseOS cannot guarantee that third-party data is complete, current, or error-free.

League decisions and imported data

Trade values, cap estimates, scheduling evidence, fairness indicators, readiness reports, and similar outputs are advisory. Commissioners remain responsible for league rules and decisions. Madden and the applicable platform remain authoritative for in-game rosters, contracts, scores, and cap enforcement.

You are responsible for reviewing synchronized information before relying on it. FranchiseOS is not responsible for a league ruling, trade, advance, deletion, or other decision made from inaccurate or incomplete data.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FranchiseOS a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. This can include availability, proposals, trade notes, ruling reasons, league settings, and other league-management records.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content and direct FranchiseOS to display it to the appropriate league members.

Beta access, subscriptions, and changes

FranchiseOS is currently offered as a founding beta. Paid plans may be introduced later with separate pricing and billing terms presented before purchase. We may apply reasonable limits needed to protect reliability, security, and fair use.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using FranchiseOS at any time. Commissioners can disconnect Madden access or remove the app from a server. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compliance, nonpayment, abuse, or material violation of these terms.

Removal of the Discord bot does not necessarily delete stored league records. See the Privacy Policy for deletion options.

Service disclaimer

FranchiseOS is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, successful synchronization, or compatibility with every Discord server, Madden release, platform, or third-party change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FranchiseOS and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, access, goodwill, revenue, league history, or competitive opportunity arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid FranchiseOS during the twelve months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, security, or platform changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be announced through the website or Discord.
